Labor Day with Mawmaw and Pawpaw

As Marshall passed the 6 week mark, momma and I have been excited in listening to Marshall’s new sounds, and new faces (he started smiling!). The best part? It was just in time, as Marshall’s ‘Mawmaw’ and ‘Pawpaw’ flew in from Texas over the Labor Day weekend to see their grandson for the first time. Needless to say, I think they took to him rather quickly.

Always the video director, I of course shot some footage. Enjoy!

4 am feeding

ALREADY! ok … it’s for me. Last night I went to bed at 9:00 pm (yes pathetic I know but I was exhausted). Then at 3:30 I woke up (for the 3rd time last night) to pee … and couldn’t get back to sleep.

After laying there for 45 minutes trying to ignore the fact that my stomach was grumbling (REALLY?!?!) I finally got up and had some cereal.

Back to bed — hugs and pats from hubby to make sure I was ok. 10 minutes of trying to get comfortable and I was back to sleep.

Maybe this is just prep for when baby comes.
